🏠 The main supplier of Cover-k is ASSA Caribbean Inc. On their website, you can contact a certified contractor who may offer a more affordable job if you have a very limited budget for waterproofing your roof.

However, as we have mentioned in this forum, you will have no control over their work.

When you choose to work with Cover-k, the contractor fully understands that they MUST meet all Cover-k requirements. For example:

     ➡️ Hydrofixation is mandatory.
     ➡️ To hydrofix, 100% removal is required. No partial removal.
     ➡️ Ponding areas must be abraded. Cement is not allowed.
     ➡️ A Hydrofixation test is required.
     ➡️ The surface must be properly prepared.
     ➡️ A percolation test is mandatory.

Finally, the roofing system must be applied according to Cover-k’s installation regulations.

In some cases, full removal may cost more than the materials of the system itself.

Doing an effective and long-lasting job will obviously cost more.

If you request estimates from contractors outside of Cover-k, NO ONE will comply with what is outlined here. No one performs total removals for hydrofixation. Even less will they conduct saturation and percolation tests. Nor will they apply the required amounts.

That is why it will be cheaper.

If this is your case, Cover-k is not for you. A process through Cover-k will NEVER cost less than a direct negotiation with an independent contractor.

The investment will yield far greater results, but in the long run.
